| Help for buying amplifier, for my subs kasi available ng kenwood amplifier is 1000watts and 1800watts.. its possible kahit 1000Watts lang or i should go for 1800watts? | Sir when you are looking to match your amplifiers and subs, always look for the RMS power not the peak. Peak is only reached in burps which only happens when you are in a SPL competition. Your sub is rated 90-380 RMS which means when you feed it excessive power, there will be a possibility and will most likely get busted. Its either you add another sub to make it 2 for a 1000w monoamp or you get a lesser wattage mono amp, lets say a 500w mono to be safe.
I once tried running an 8" 150w rms sub on a rockford 600.1 mono. And i tell you smoke coming out of your box and subs aint a pretty sight

| I think this would be a better amp. The 600w mono is just 300w rms @ 2ohms. It means the amp is not 1ohm stable so it couldnt use up the 600w. I dunno why kenwood always exaggerates the power handling of their products. just like v12, 3000watts daw gli wla kalab.ot 100w per channel KAC8104D Kenwood KAC-8104D Mono Subwoofer Amplifier Model KAC8104D Part No. KAC810 1 Channel subwoofer amplifier 300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms) CEA-2006 compliant Variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at 24 dB per octave) Bass boost (0-18 dB at 40 Hz ) Subsonic filter (15/25 Hz, 18 dB/octave ) Class D design Speaker-level inputs with signal sensing turn-on Preamp-level inputs and outputs Fuse rating: 40A x 1 8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — not included 11-1/16"W x 2-3/8"H x 9-7/8"D | |

| IMHO it seems you wanted to go SPL? might as well go look for higher subs with great RMS, then pair up with a good amp class D mono that would suffice the need of your amp..but if easy listening and a good 4 channel amp will do already to power your kenwood sub, have it bridge na lang.
fyi, I don't have a capacitor and only use a stock battery. but if you really want to go SPL then get a battery kinetik gel perhaps..

| On what car do you plan to install? In my own opinion i wouldnt take KFC-M6932A 6x9's. I'm really not a fan.. I'd rather go with coaxials because you wont have to destroy anything and fits almost everywhere. KFC-1682ie would be a good substitute? and as for the capacitor, a 1 farad or 1.5 farad will do | |

tambay mode paps? nice..then if loud and clear then go for high RMS-watts, I'm not familiar with kenwood but it's sure will feed your needs. good luck!

| a 4ch 75x4 @ 4ohms will do. don't be fooled with max ratings ng mga speakers. much better if mag basi ka sa RMS ratings maki seperates man or sub. i usually don't mind brands who stated the max wattage in their boxes or manuals than RMS. | |
